Kindergarten Readiness
Readiness has had a busy end of March and April. Thank you to the West Elementary PIE group for our fun PIE field trip to the Dickinson County Nature Center and the Regional Wellness Center in Estherville at the end of March. We have been busy learning about different habitats along with the animals and plants that live in each. We enjoyed a trip to Willow Tree Garden Center and a visit from the Palo Alto County Naturalist to help us learn more!!
Second Grade
2nd graders have been learning about how water changes the land during science time. They also had a special visit from the high school therapy dog, Josie.
Third Grade
3rd grade artists are learning a new painting technique in art class. Ask a third grader what they are learning! Third graders in math class have been learning about fractions and took some time to label fractions on a number line.
