Happy Fall! A few reminders that are worth noting: progress reports go out this week, so please make sure you review these with your student and, if needed, discuss supports that your student can access to improve their current performance. Some of these supports include: before and after school tutoring, meeting with teachers, finding new and effective ways of tracking and completing assignments (google calendar, day planner, etc.) use of the writing lab or math lab, and other ideas that we are happy to thought-partner with you about.

The operation of the building is going well. We are continuing to figure it out and work towards a streamlined experience for our students.

One note: weather is going to continue to be a challenge with an open campus for the next 2.5 years. We have handed out 600 umbrellas and are doing our best to keep these umbrellas on campus. Please remind your student to leave our red umbrellas on campus, as tempting as they are to take home (we know, they're the best). Moving forward, students should prepare for inclement weather with rain gear, warm clothes, and proper footwear. We know this isn't how we're used to doing school, but this is our reality for the foreseeable future. We, as a school, will do our best to help kids avoid bad weather, but please help us by preparing your student. As always, please contact us privately if your student is unable to get proper clothing for the weather.

Be well,

Joel Giacobozzi

Principal
