For New OHVA HS Learning Coaches
2026-2027
Get Ready!
We are so excited to welcome you and your family for an amazing school year!
Being a Learning Coach is meaningful, with fun-filled and sometimes challening days, too. So we want to do our part to make things flow as smoothly as possible for you! We appreciate the hard work that takes place in your home.
First, take a little time to look over the Welcome Site. This is the spot! Prior to the first day of school, your K12 School (OLS) login will direct you there automatically.
When your student logs in to login.k12.com on the first day, they will see the K12 Launch Pad. This is their hub to see classes, assignments, emails, and more. They’ll also find a Welcome Site widget right in their K12 Launch Pad, so they can easily get back to those extra resources anytime throughout the year.
We're so glad you’ve chosen to let us serve your student’s academic needs. We’re excited to get to know your family as you join our school community.
Let’s have a great year together! ~ Your OHVA School Team

Attend ONE orientation session online your first day of school, or first week of school, depending on your schedule. These will show in your student's schedule, and are typically offered multiple times your first week. Check with your student's advisor for questions about orientation.
Who can you ask for help? Your ADVISOR is your champion for questions and support as you begin OHVA. You can also visit HELP.K12.COM to search for HOW-TO info!
Readiness Testing
High school students will be taking readiness testing for each of their graduation-required courses. These assessments will take place approximately 3 weeks after the start of the semester.
Please keep an eye on your email and the school app for further details and specific schedules regarding these tests.

Printing needs may vary, so please see below for the tip on HP Instant Ink, and we recommend printing on economy or draft mode.
What Materials will my Student Receive?
Because materials are shipped out by course, each student must first be assigned courses for materials to be shipped out.
Once your student is assigned courses, you can track your incoming shipments right from your Learning Coach K12 School OLS account!
