Dear Bellerive Families,

I hope you and your children are enjoying the long weekend!

On Friday, our classroom teachers engaged in further learning around our new ELA resource, Benchmark Advance. They are dedicated to learning about this resource and how to best utilize its many components to optimize and individualize reading and writing instruction for our students.

Monday brings a fun opportunity to connect as a community! You are invited to a free community ice skating event sponsored by the PTO—details are included below. This is just one of the many ways our PTO supports Bellerive. In addition to hosting community events, they also grant teacher wishes for classroom items beyond the school budget.

To make all of this possible, the PTO relies on its biggest fundraiser of the year—Trivia & Auction Night, happening at the end of March. Have you signed up yet?

If you're like me, finding a full group for a trivia night table can be a challenge. What I love about Bellerive’s event is that you don’t need to buy an entire table—you can purchase individual tickets and be paired with other Bellerive families! It’s a great way to meet new people and become more involved in our school community. I hope to see you there!

1st and 2nd grade families! Please make plans to join us on Thursday, February 20th for Bellerive's annual Black History Month concert. Students will meet in the cafeteria at 6:45 pm, and they will perform at 7 pm in the gym. We hope to see everyone there!

Each year Bellerive students participate in the Kids Heart Challenge in PE. This year, all donations will be collected online. Click here for the direct link!

Bellerive Clubs end in February. Step Team continues but will shift to a different day of the week so it does not conflict with Girls on the Run!
