Hello, Hawks:

As we head into the long weekend, I want to take a moment to recognize what Memorial Day is really about. It’s more than the start of summer - it’s a time to remember the men and women who gave everything in service to our country. As a Marine and Iraq War veteran, this day is personal. I think about the friends I served with who didn’t make it home. Their stories, their courage, and their sacrifice stay with me every day.

I hope each of us can find a moment this weekend to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave their lives so we can enjoy the freedoms we have. Thank you for being part of a school community that values service, remembrance, and unity.

Next week is going to be a BUSY one only to be followed up by a Senior Launch Week!

From May 30-31, the tradition of Hockinson Fun Days continues! Hockinson AAA Boosters puts on an amazing show, but they cannot do it without our community support. If you are able, please sign up to volunteer here.
