Texas Education Agency MTSS Q&A: April 25, 2019

Somehow this very informative webinar slipped through my peripheral vision without triggering an alarm and for that I apologize and I may have thought it was free (TCASE Administrator Members are free), but it is not a free webinar. Non member's fee is $75 and Member's fee is $45.

I personally found the webinar to be informative. Dr. Elizabeth Swanson (The Meadows Center), Mr. Steven Prater (TEA Technical Supports Manager & possibly R10's MTSS Institute Keynote - Shameless Plug), and Dr. Sarah Benz (National Center on Intensive Interventions) did a fabulous job of explaining where our great state is headed with MTSS. Please note this process is still being developed and more information will be distributed over the next couple of months.

Update: R10's MTSS Institute - The Power of Us

The MTSS Institute (September 25-26, 2019) is a two day event centered around both researched best practices and implementation. Early bird rates of $99 (individual) and $499 (group of six) will be available. It is recommended that you attend as a group. Suggested group members are a district representative, a campus administrator, an interventionist, a general ed teacher, a special education teacher, a Dyslexia Therapist, a G/T representative, a 504 representative and an EL representative. Should you have a group that is more than six members, please call for special pricing.
