DANCE-A-THON

TeSA Families,

Today begins DANCE-A-THON! This is PTO's greatest fundraiser of the year. The goal is to raise $25,000 to fund playground improvements, including replacing the existing mulch with new virgin rubber mulch, installing two teacher benches and a student "Buddy Bench," and adding a larger shade canopy. PTO does amazing things for TeSA, and this is the perfect time to get involved to help make a difference.

Look for the flier in your student's binder with more information and tell your friends and family to make their pledges online at: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/dat2022.

For more information of how to get involved with DANCE-A-THON and other PTO events, come to the PTO meeting on Friday or email President Jessica Wazniak at jrwozniak@gmail.com.

Artistically & Academically Yours,

Betsy Compton, M.A., M.A.T., M.Ed.

Safety Concerns- Carline & School Check-In

As a reminder, all adults must have a legal picture ID to check in the school building. Please alert any other family members that may come to eat lunch or check out your child, so they are prepared. This year, adults must also check-out when leaving. Thank you for planning for these few extra minutes before and after every visit!

So far this school year, we've seen several safety concerns with families arriving early to wait in the carline. Our first graders are outside for recess from 2:00-2:20. If you arrive this early, please stop at the end of the south parking lot and do not turn the corner until they have exited the area. Our third graders are sometimes outside for P.E. until 3:30. By this time, cars may turn the corner so we can fill up the carline. Please drive no more than 5 mph and stay very alert for students and staff.

FWAFA Boo Dance

The FWAFA junior class would like to invite TeSA 3rd-5th graders to attend the FWAFA Boo Dance from 4:00-5:30 on Friday, Oct. 21st. The $15 ticket comes with a bottle of water and slice of pizza. Additional food and drinks can be purchased during the event.

To attend, print and return the Boo Dance Permission Form to the TeSA front office by Friday.
