New Attendance Process!
Did you know Learning Coaches are required to log attendance each day for all students? Any attendance from past school days that was missed should still be entered. Attendance should include time spent in live class sessions, independent study, and any outside-the-classroom learning experiences for each student.
Suggested attendance hours per grade level:
Grades 7-12: Daily Hours: 6
Stay on track! To avoid the risk of withdrawal, please ensure your student doesn't miss more than 10% of their required attendance. Reach out to your teachers if you have any questions!

iReady Information
iReady is an engaging online assessment and instruction program that identifies individual strengths and weaknesses in reading and math, then builds lessons and activities targeted for your student to fill in those gaps.
To access your student's iReady results, follow instructions in the image to the left. Diagnostic testing took place August 6 & 7, but if your student has not taken it, be sure they attend the makeup session when it appears on their schedule.

The Flex Program
At ISAZ, we know every student learns differently, and families have busy, unique schedules. That’s why we offer Flex, an online learning program available to students who meet school eligibility criteria and are ready for a more independent learning model.
The Flex program is available for students who demonstrate proficiency in Math and ELA on state or benchmark assessments. Families of students who are partially proficient may request a review with school administration. To learn more and see if Flex would be a good fit for your family, click the button below or reach out to your homeroom teacher.

Child Find
When students enroll and have a history of special education services, our school follows all legal guidelines under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This means we request and carefully review any existing evaluations, eligibility documents, and IEPs to ensure students receive appropriate and comparable services.
Our commitment to Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) means that all students, regardless of disability, have access to grade-level curriculum and are placed in courses that align with their academic needs and graduation plans. We’re here to support every learner and ensure a smooth, thoughtful transition into our school community.
