Hello All,
I hope you are well, you had a wonderful weekend and not too much snow. All in all, it was a quiet weekend at our home. Josie, Nelson, and the puppy went back to Chicago and arrived safely. Lily and Phoebe are around another week, and I saw my dad. A friend of mine brought us some Pastrami from Montreal, and my dad and I shared a sandwich. Delicious. Played a tiny bit of pickle-ball.
3 Weeks left in the semester. Please continue to work with students and communicate what must be done by January 26th. Emails regarding the WUD days will go out this week and to the Solon Salutes to students and caregivers tomorrow.
It also dawned on me, I did not share my word that I am working on as part of my 24-25 resolutions. I am practicing using curiosity and clarity in my professional life. I hope to be more clear, and curious as part of my continued development as a leader and principal. Feel free to offer me feedback anytime on my progress.

And, if you have a TA student called back to a different teacher, please advise that student where to go. - On Monday as part of Faculty Meeting we will discuss a shift in Semester 2 meetings. You can find the description here. My hope is our Monday Faculty meetings will allow us to have dedicated and more time to work on PLC's, finishing our LE's and continued DEI work. And offer clarity when as a department you should be meeting.
