๐ A Note From Ms. Wilson
Christie Nation Families,
We have an exciting week ahead at Dan Christie Elementary! Picture Day is Tuesday, August 25th, so mark your calendars and help your child come ready to smile! ๐ธ We canโt wait to capture those special memories from the 2026โ2027 school year.
Yearbook Photo Reminder: If you would like your student to be pictured in the yearbook, please make sure you have selected the appropriate photo permission in Skyward so your student is included on our photo list. Students who are on the No Photo List will not be pictured in the yearbook. Please take a moment to check your Skyward permissions before Picture Day!
We also want to encourage every family to join our PTO! PTO is an incredible way to stay connected, support our teachers and students, and help make special experiences possible for our entire Christie Nation community. Your membership and involvement make a difference, whether you can volunteer regularly or simply join and support our campus throughout the year.

New Absence Procedure
Attendance Changes for 2026-2027
Doctorโs notes or other supporting documentation for an absence, may be submitted by completing the online Attendance Note Submission form and uploading your documentation within the form. Student's 8-digit ID numbers are required in order to complete the form, and may be found in Skyward Family Access. This process applies to both full-day and partial-day absences. Please note that a parent notification submitted through Skyward Family Access regarding a doctor's visit does not qualify as a doctor's note.
Counselor Updates
Dear Christie Families,

BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN TEXAS
Named by HEBโs Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 67-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now soaring to the fastest growing school district in Texas, due in no small part to the pursuit of excellence in the arts, academics and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.
ABOUT PROSPER ISD
