Dragons Den Community
3/9/26-3/13/26
Mission
The mission of George Bannerman Dealey is to provide an exemplary education that develops and empowers all students to become productive citizens in our global society.
Dear Dealey Families,
Spring is right around the corner, and our campus continues to be filled with joyful learning, leadership, and community connection. This week we celebrate several meaningful observances while also preparing for a well-deserved break.
Only 5 school days remain until Spring Break! 🌸
We look forward to finishing this week strong and wish all of our Dealey families a safe, restful, and joyful Spring Break next week.
🌸 Celebrating Women Leaders – International Women’s Day
International Women's Day
This week we recognize International Women’s Day, a global celebration of the achievements and contributions of women across the world. At Dealey, we are proud of the many women—educators, staff members, mothers, and students—who lead with strength, compassion, and excellence every day.
Quote of the Week
“Here’s to strong women: May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.”
— UnknownOur Dragons are surrounded by incredible role models who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and kindness in everything they do.
🍪 Honoring Leadership & Service – Girl Scout Day (March 12)
Girl Scouts of the USA
Thursday marks National Girl Scout Day, celebrating the founding of the Girl Scouts in 1912. The organization has empowered generations of girls to become leaders, innovators, and community changemakers.
Their mission aligns beautifully with our commitment to developing compassionate leaders and responsible global citizens here at Dealey.
“The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers.”
— Juliette Gordon Low, Founder of the Girl ScoutsWe encourage all of our students—especially our young girls—to continue dreaming big, leading boldly, and supporting one another.
🥧 A Little Math Fun – Pi Day (March 14)
Pi Day
This week we celebrate Pi Day, honoring the mathematical constant π (3.14). Pi Day is a fun opportunity to highlight the importance of math in our everyday lives.
Teachers may incorporate exciting math activities, puzzles, or even pie-themed learning opportunities as we celebrate curiosity and problem solving.
Math is everywhere—and our Dragons continue to show that learning can be both meaningful and fun!
🌼 Spring Break is Almost Here!
Spring Break begins next week, and we hope all of our families take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time together. Whether you are traveling, visiting family, or simply enjoying a slower pace at home, we wish everyone a safe and wonderful break.
We look forward to welcoming our Dragons back refreshed and ready for an exciting spring semester!
💙 A Message from the Principal
Our school community thrives because of the partnership between our students, families, and staff. Every day I am inspired by the kindness, leadership, and joy that our Dragons bring to campus.
Thank you for being an important part of the Dealey family!
With pride and gratitude,
