Read Across America! Read Across America!

We celebrated the magic of reading all week long with fun stories, guest readers, and themed dress-down days that brought books to life!

Our RAA spirit days included:

  • “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” Monday

  • Top Hat Tuesday

  • Wacky Wednesday

  • Spring Into March Thursday with bright, cheerful colors!

Friday was extra cozy and special—our entire school wore pajamas and gathered in the hallways for a school-wide Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) time. It was the perfect way to wrap up a week full of reading adventures and celebrate our love of literacy!

Nurse's Corner Nurse's Corner

We have been seeing an increase in illnesses this winter. In order to help keep our school community healthy this season, please monitor your child and keep them home if they experience vomiting or diarrhea, or fever (temperature 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher in the last 24 hours).

Please be advised that students have recently reported concerns about dry skin. To address this issue, all classrooms have been supplied with Eucerin Original Healing Lotion. This measure aims to reduce the number of students requesting visits to the nurse's office for hand cream.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Mrs. Buonadonna, the School Nurse at 201-342-6446 x 3002 or jbuonadonna@bogotaboe.com.
