A Message from the Principal
I remember this day 25 years ago so clearly. My kids were little bitty, and I hadn’t seen any news that morning because Teletubbies were on our TV. Then a friend called. We talked, we cried, and we watched the screen together as the second plane hit in real time.
In the days that followed, I remember watching communities come together—to pray, collect supplies, support one another, and simply be together. In the midst of unimaginable tragedy, there was an incredible sense of unity and a reminder of how much we need one another.
Twenty-five years later, may we continue to remember those whose lives were lost, honor the heroes who stepped forward, and hold onto the lesson that still matters today: we are better when we come together, care for one another, and choose community. May we never forget.
