Girls Research and Engineering Opportunity
I am reaching out to inform you about Girls Research Engineering and Technology Day! GREAT Day is the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan’s annual event for middle school girls interested in participating in hands-on engineering and technical activities at our Ann Arbor campus! I have been able to find your contact information from district websites. If you are able to forward this information to those who would be interested we would really appreciate it!
GREAT Day will be Sunday, March 29th, 2025 from 10AM - 1PM at the University of Michigan’s North Campus in the Leinweber Computer Science and Information Building room 1355. Check in will start at 9:30AM! (parking details coming to registered participants!)
Participants will engage in hands-on activities, complete a scavenger hunt of engineering spaces on campus, and engage with a student panel of U-M Society of Women Engineers members.
Lunch will be provided, and dietary restrictions indicated at registration will be heeded.
The event costs $7 per student and can be paid online via PayPal or in cash at check-in.
Registration is available via this form!
