A Taste of White Eagle: Multicultural Night
Only a few more weeks until A Taste Of White Eagle, our 3rd annual Multicultural night! We are in serious need of volunteers to help make this year's event a success whether you share information about your culture, food, or a live performance. Please click below to SIGN UP today and join us at the event on Thurs., November 13th from 6-8pm !
1st Quarter Report Cards
Due to a critical system update required by Synergy, report cards for elementary and middle school levels will not be visible in ParentVUE until Monday, October 27.
This delay is the result of the recent AWS outage on Monday, which caused Synergy to postpone essential server upgrades needed to ensure accurate and secure grade reporting. The update must now be completed before report cards can be made available to families.
We understand this delay is not ideal and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete the required maintenance to ensure the system is stable and grades are posted correctly.
Halloween Costumes
We know that many of our students are excited about Halloween! We kindly ask that students save the costumes for Halloween night & not wear them to school.
Our PTA & parent volunteers have some fun activities planned for our Fall Classroom Parties that will take place on Friday, October 31!
School Picture Retakes & Pictures for New Students
If your child had their picture taken on picture day (September 23), you should have received an email from VIP Image Photography with instructions on how to view the photos. If you did not receive that email, you can go to https://www.vipis.com/ & click on "View & Order Photos" at the top of the website & search for White Eagle Elementary. From there, you will click "School Portraits" (red box) & follow the prompts to view your child's photos. If you need assistance, please contact VIP support at support@vipis.com.
Picture retake day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29. If you would like your child to have their picture retaken, please email your child's teacher so we can put them on the retake list. If your child was absent or did not enroll at White Eagle until after the September picture day, we will take their picture on October 29.
Free After-School Therapy Sessions for Aurora Families
Indian Prairie School District 204 has received a $10,000 grant from the City of Aurora to provide free after-school therapy sessions for Indian Prairie families who live within Aurora city limits.
Through this program, students can access up to six (6) free 50-minute therapy sessions held on Tuesday evenings from November 4 through December 16, 2025, at Granger Middle School (sessions available at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM).
Licensed, independent therapists—not district employees—will provide confidential, one-on-one sessions to support students and families dealing with anxiety, grief, depression, or other behavioral health concerns. All information shared during sessions will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared with school staff.

Book Fair
White Eagle’s first Book Fair for the year is coming! It will be held in the LMC from Wednesday, Oct. 22nd to Thursday, Oct. 30th. Here’s what you need to know…
- Preview days for students will be Thursday, Oct. 23rd – Friday, Oct. 24th. All students in first – fifth grades will fill out a "Wish List" listing the books they would like. Please look for these "Wish Lists" to come home. They will be helpful when searching for the books your child is interested in. It is also extremely helpful to have them with you as you are browsing at the Book Fair. Kindergarten will come for a preview time but will not fill out a Wish List. You can also browse the Book Fair flyer at: https://bit.ly/4mHuQLj
- The book fair schedule is:
- Monday, Oct. 27th from 9:15 am – 3:10 pm and 4:00 - 5:00 pm
- Tuesday, Oct. 28th from 9:15 am – 3:10 pm
- Wednesday, Oct. 29th from 9:30 am – 3:10 pm and 4:00 - 5:00 pm
- Thursday, Oct. 30th from 9:15 am – 3:15 pm and 4:00 – 6:00 pm (last night to shop)
- For more information, please see the flyer that is coming home with your child this Friday or our White Eagle website!
We look forward to seeing you. All proceeds from the book fair will be used to purchase additional materials for the LMC. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Book Drive
Hey All You White Eagle Wolves! Along with our Fall Book Fair, White Eagle LMC is hosting a Community Book Drive for @berniesbookbank and we need your help! Donate new or gently used children’s books starting Oct. 23rd - Oct. 31st. It's a great way to clear out those bookshelves to make room for new books from our book fair and share book love with families in our community.
WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept new and gently used children’s books for children from birth through sixth grade reading level. We love them all – fiction, non-fiction, chapter books, picture books and everything in between. We don’t distribute textbooks, dictionaries, activity books, coloring books, reference material or religious books. Please remember, only donate
books of good quality.
WHAT DOES BERNIE’S BOOK BANK DO WITH THE BOOKS?
Every child we serve receives 8 books per year! Once your generous donation is received at the Bernie’s Book Bank processing center, volunteers sticker, sort, and bag them for distribution to children who need them most.
HOW DO I TURN IN THE BOOKS I WANT TO DONATE?
Students can put the books in the collection bins that will be located in the LMC and/or in front of the school during arrival.
Wolf Pact
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is an evidence-based, tiered framework used in our school to improve student outcomes by promoting positive social, emotional, and academic behaviors. Here at White Eagle, our PBIS committee is made up of staff and a parent liaison. Together we work to promote positive behavior through our Wolf Pact. We will Be Kind, Be Safe and Be Ready at White Eagle.
Students are recognized for showing these positive behaviors at school and now we would like to recognize students who show these behaviors at home. If you catch your child showing the Wolf Pact at home, please complete the Google Form below. We may surprise your child by recognizing them at school for their behavior shown at home.
Newcomers' Resource Guide
Please view the Newcomers' Resource Guide for helpful information from District 204's English Language Learners (ELL) Department.
