A Message from the Principal

Two Weeks Left in the Semester!

We can’t believe it, but there are only two weeks left in the 1st semester! Many families have reached out asking how they can help their student improve their grades — so if you’ve been wondering the same thing, here’s what we’ve been sharing:

1. Come to school.
Attendance is key! You can’t learn the material or get caught up if you aren’t here.

2. Use class time wisely.
Pay attention, ask questions, and use your work time to complete assignments.

3. Turn work in on time.
Use your planner or calendar to track due dates and stay organized.

4. Organize your backpack.
Keep a system for papers you still need to finish at home — it makes a big difference!

5. Do your homework.
Our ASAP program is a great option for this — offered Monday through Thursday until 4:30 PM. It keeps students in the routine of working at school and helps prevent falling behind.

6. Turn in quality work.
Effort matters! Make sure assignments are complete and reflect your best work.

7. Study for tests.
Even open-book or open-note tests require review — make sure notes and materials are easy to find.

8. Don’t wait until the end of the semester to worry about grades.
Starting early gives students time to make meaningful improvements.

Ms. Andrews and I are always happy to meet with students and parents to create plans and routines for success. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help every student finish the semester strong!
