9/22/2025: Community Newsletter

Week in Review
Another strong week at the Ram house. We celebrated students being admitted to a major university, student leaders met with Superintendent Podesta, our staff focused on engaging students in learning objectives, athletic teams competed with Ram pride, and a large group of families and community members joined the Friends of Ingraham (FOI) meeting. All around campus, we continue to see PRIDE in many ways.
As we settle into the school year, please remind your student to stay focused and keep putting in the effort. One hundred eighty days can feel like a long stretch, but no one has to do it alone. If your student needs support, they can always connect with their counselor, our school social worker Siri Quigley, or the YMCA team.
We look forward to seeing what the coming week will bring!
Seattle Promise at Ingraham High School
Seattle Promise is a college tuition and success program launched by Seattle Colleges, Seattle Public Schools, and the City of Seattle following passage of the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise (FEPP) Levy (opens in new tab) in 2018.
Seattle Promise has three core components:
- Free tuition at any of the Seattle Colleges: North Seattle College, Seattle Central College or South Seattle College for up to two years, 90 college credits or a student's first degree, whichever comes first.

- Student support and advising beginning in the junior year of high school and lasting through completion of a degree, certificate, credential or transfer to a four-year institution.
