Peterson's Message- K3 Director
Greetings MCP3 Team!
WOW! Can you even believe it is June? It is crazy to think that we have two weeks left of the 25-26 school year with our class of 2040! I continue to be impressed with how far our scholars come over the year with learning how to follow routines and procedures, how to share, how to listen, and how to be a student in a classroom at MCP! I am beyond proud and grateful for all of you and your dedication to making a positive impact on the growth of our scholars. Let's continue strong in these final weeks!
Here are some important happenings and reminders:

End of year Evaluations
All staff will receive an end of year evaluation to highlight glows and grows and celebrate success from the year. Please refer to this EOY Eval Schedule for your eval time. Evals will be held in my office. Teams should plan to adjust personal lunch times as needed. Let me know if there are any conflicts with your scheduled time.
Please remember that this detailed checkout checklist is to ensure a smooth close out to the year and a smooth transition to the start of the 26-27 school year. It is also a collaborative responsibility between lead teacher and EA. Tasks may be worked on during prep times and should NOT be worked on during wake hours of our scholars. Staff are expected to be fully engaged and supervising children during wake hours.
There will be scheduled checkout times with administration on Thursday the 11th and Friday the 12th. Both the Lead Teacher and EA will need to be present for the scheduled checkout time. I will send a sign up sheet out to the team once I get confirmation from Dr. Cleveland on the expectations for those days.
EOY Classroom Award Ceremonies
We decided to shift end of year awards to be held the day before completion ceremony so that most students can be recognized and awards can be taken home. This means that classrooms should plan to hold their classroom award ceremonies on Tuesday 6/9 (outside of the scheduled completion ceremony rehearsal time) and awards should go home on that day as well.
MCP3 Completion Ceremony Details
- Rehearsals 6/8 @8:45-9:15, & 6/9 @10:15-10:45
- 6/10 @ 9:00am in the North Gym
