Hello Park View Families!
A Little About Me
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! My name is Jenna Jarvis, and I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as the new principal of Park View Elementary.
Park View feels like home. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to work alongside many of our incredible teachers and students, and I have fallen in love with this school community. The kindness, support, and dedication of our families and staff make Park View a truly special place, and I feel so fortunate to be part of it.
A little about me—I live in Salem with my husband, Jared, and we have two wonderful children. I love spending time with my family, reading, being outdoors, and running. One of my favorite things is watching children discover their strengths and build confidence. I believe every child has incredible potential, and I can’t wait to work together to help each student learn, grow, and Fly Higher!
As we prepare for another wonderful school year, here are a few important reminders.
Stay Connected
We've made it easy to keep all of our most important resources in one place! At the bottom of every newsletter, you'll find quick links to Infinite Campus (registration, schedules, and grades), SchoolCash Online (school donations), LINQ Connect (school meal payments), the Nebo School District App (to communicate with teachers), a link to add the Park View Shared Calendar to your Google Calendar so you never miss an important event, and our Park View Facebook and Instagram pages.
Don't forget to hit Follow! Our social media is one of the best ways to see all the incredible things happening at Park View. From classroom learning and special events to student celebrations and school fun, you'll get a front-row seat to the amazing things your children are learning and experiencing throughout the year. We can't wait to share those moments with you!
Student Registration
Online Registration
If you haven’t already done so, please complete your student’s registration as soon as possible. Students must be registered before class assignments can be viewed.
School Donations
So far, only a small number of families have been able to contribute. If your family is in a position to donate, we are sincerely grateful. Every contribution—large or small—helps create meaningful opportunities for our students. Thank you for your generosity and support of Park View Elementary!
Please note that school donations are no longer paid through Infinite Campus. Instead, all donations are made through SchoolCashOnline at schoolcashonline.com.
These donations directly support our students by helping pay for field trips and other enriching learning experiences throughout the year.
Class Assignments
Class assignments will be available in Infinite Campus beginning Tuesday, August 5.
To view your child’s teacher:
- Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Select your student.
- Click Schedule (or Today, depending on your view).
- Your student’s teacher and classroom assignment will be displayed.
If you need help accessing your account or completing registration, please contact the school office.
Kindergarten Assessment
If you have an incoming kindergartner, and have not come in for an assessment yet, we invite you to attend our Kindergarten Assessment on Tuesday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
While that is our preferred assessment time, we understand schedules don’t always cooperate. If you’re unable to attend then, please bring your child to the school during our summer office hours (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) so we can complete the assessment before school begins.
Open House
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back at Open House on Monday, August 17, from 3:00–5:00 p.m.
From 4:00–4:15 p.m., we’ll gather in the gym for a brief welcome presentation of tips and trips to make it a successful year and an opportunity to meet me, our new TSA Zach Evans, and our Parent Volunteer Program (PVP) Coordinator. We hope you’ll join us!
School Community Council
School Community Council is a wonderful opportunity for parents to have a voice in the decisions that help shape Park View Elementary. Council members work together with school staff to discuss student achievement, school safety, and how school improvement funds can best support our students. If you are interested in serving on the School Community Council, please complete and return the attached interest form to the school office by August 1st. We would love to have parents from a variety of backgrounds and grade levels represented and hope you'll consider getting involved!
United Way Community Center
Attached you’ll find the United Way Community Center of Payson schedule, which includes a variety of great resources, activities, and programs available to families throughout the summer.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your children with us. We are excited to welcome them back and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and lots of reasons to celebrate.
Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll see you soon! The first day of school is August 18th!
Warmly,
Jenna Jarvis
