D. Late Cook County Property Taxes
Assistant Superintendent for Business/CSBO Stacey Mallek provided the Board with an update on Cook County’s delay in issuing 2024 second-installment property tax bills. At the time of the meeting, Cook County announced that bills would be mailed by the end of the week and due in December. Because this delay affects when school districts receive a significant portion of their revenue, District 25 has been working with its shared Treasury partners to ensure stable cash flow. The District will continue monitoring the situation and keep the Board and community informed as timelines are confirmed.
