Dear CFC Students and Families,
As we begin the second month of school, I want to take a moment to reflect on the fantastic start we have had to the school year. The first quarter always moves quickly, but the momentum our students have built in this short time has been truly inspiring.
Every day I’ve watched our students actively take ownership of their education—whether that means pushing through learning and academic challenges, stepping up their daily attendance, or leaning into the support around them.
I want to celebrate the intentional effort so many of our students have made to show up consistently, with four students earning perfect attendance in September and overall improvements for every student. Strong attendance is one of the most powerful tools our seniors have to stay on track, build momentum, and keep the finish line in sight. Every day present is a step closer to earning that diploma!
Thank you for partnering with us in your student's education—we are so proud of the work they are putting in and grateful to share in their success.

MRS. MOCADLO

• Current role - Alternative Education Teacher
• Previous roles/grades/schools - I worked as an Educational Assistant for the first 2 years, when the teacher I was working with retired, I stepped into the teaching position. Best decision that I have ever made!
• Years in education - This is my 16th year at CFC
• Interesting fact about you - I have remained in the same classroom throughout my entire time here.
• What makes you CFC proud? - The small environment at CFC allows us to have a one on one conversations with all of the students that pass through our school doors. I feel fortunate to have built relationships with some of my students that will be forever, ongoing.
