The Dacusville Wavelength

November is here, and with it comes a season of gratitude! There is so much to be thankful for at Dacusville Middle School. From our incredible students and dedicated staff to our supportive families and community, I am truly grateful for each of you and the role you play in making DMS such a special place.

October was filled with wonderful moments, celebrations, and opportunities to come together, and we are excited for all that November has in store! Thank you to everyone who joined us for parent conferences, family nights, athletic events, and student celebrations. A successful school is built on strong partnerships, and we are so thankful for our families who continue to show up, support, and stay involved in their child's education.

As we enter the holiday season, I also want to remind our families that we are here to support you. If your family could use assistance with holiday meals or Christmas gifts, please do not hesitate to reach out to our guidance department or family liaison. We want every Gold Wave family to experience the joy and magic of the holiday season.

Thank you for being part of our DMS family. We have so much to be thankful for, and I look forward to continuing to make wonderful memories together!

Please help us keep our students safe and healthy while also helping us maintain a clean learning environment. We ask that students do not bring sodas, energy drinks, coffee, or other specialty drinks to school.

Students are welcome to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. Water fountains are also available for students to use before and after classes.

Dacusville along with all SDPC middle schools will run on a 6 period school day. This allows for a 30 minute flex session each day for students to receive support in all academic areas. Also, our 8th grade students will continue to attend the Pickens County Career and Technology Center for courses.
