Carline Reminders
If your child is a "car rider" to or from school each day, please be sure to follow our safety requirements in the carline:
- Stay in your car at all times - only students should be getting in and out of the car
- Pay attention at all times - no cell phone use in the car line
- Stay in the line - do not pass cars that are taking longer to load or unload to ensure student safety and avoide fender benders
- Pull all the way forward - We should be able to load/unload at least 8 cars at a time if every cooperates
Student Bike/Scooter Reminders
Please review with your children that all bikes and scooters must be walked on school grounds during arrival and dismissal.
If you or your child own an e-bike or e-scooter, please take time to review both Illinois and Naperville laws. Many e-bikes and e-scooters are prohibited from use on sidewalks, some have age requirements of 16 years or order, and some require a proper licence to use. It is the legal repsonsibility of families to know the laws regarding these devices. In any case, these MUST be walked on school grounds during arrival and dismissal.

Three afterschool clubs for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders!
There are no fees for the clubs.
Deadline to sign up for clubs is Friday, September 26.
Tuesdays beginning October 7: Tuesdays from 3:35 to 4:30 in the LMC.
Create & Innovate Club – Limit 20 members in one of four sessions -– Open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
This is a fun and exciting after-school program designed for students who love to explore their creativity and bring their ideas to life! Each week, the host, Ms. Jenkins, will present a unique item that hopefully sparks their imagination. Members would then have a week to dive into crafting, building, and designing a project using that item, turning the design into reality. The next club meeting will be the time to present what was created and receive another item for the next week’s presentation. This club is about thinking outside the box, experimenting with new ideas, and discovering the joy of making something unique.

What is it you may ask . . .well, it’s a unique book club. We meet on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 using Google Meet. By using Google Meet, students get to go home first, get a snack, and join in to listen to some really great books together. We’ll listen and share our thoughts and anticipations. We also may have an occasional featured author drop-in to chat with us!

Thursday beginning October 3:
Chill & Chat Club – This one is for 4th and 5th grade students only
This is a relaxed and welcoming after-school club for students to unwind, connect, and share their thoughts with friends. In this club, students can engage in fun conversations about their interests, hobbies, and anything on their minds. It's a place where everyone is encouraged to express themselves, listen to others, and build friendships in a positive and supportive environment. Whether it's discussing favorite books, movies, or just chatting about the day, Chill & Chat Club is the perfect spot to relax, have fun, and enjoy good company. I will host three sessions, nine meetings for 12 girls only (10/9/25), nine meetings for 12 boys only (1/8/26), and finally five sessions for all 24 boys and girls together (3/26/26).

PTA POINTS
PRINCIPAL FOR THE MORNING CONTEST
Congrats to our PTA contest winner, Hannah Truman! She had a blast as Principal for the Morning last week, shadowing Mrs. Jerger and taking on some important “principal duties” around the building. It was a fun, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to lead our school! Hannah shared that she enjoyed the whole experience and especially liked getting to visit her friend Sienna in first grade. Thank you to Mrs. Jerger for making this fun, leadership experience possible and we look forward to next year’s contest!

HELP SHAPE PTA PLANS FOR THIS YEAR!
We’re excited to kick off a new school year full of fresh ideas and meaningful fundraising efforts — and we want to make sure they reflect your priorities as families.
Your voice matters!
We’re asking all families to take a quick survey to help guide our plans for events, fundraising, and how funds are used.
Why take the survey?
- Share what matters most to your family
- Help us plan events that work for you
- Make sure PTA funds go where they’re needed
- The more responses we get, the better we can serve everyone!
