Congratulations Congratulations

Congratulations to Mrs. Laura Llistro our TOMS Staff Member of the Week! She was nominated by

Mrs. Anne Papania!

Mrs. Llistro is an RBHS Counselor at TOMS. This is her 1st year working at TOMS.

My favorite memory of middle school was going to Powder Ridge on Friday nights with my friends in the school ski club.

My advice to my Middle School self would be...stick with the people you trust, and those who make you feel better about yourself.

What an incredible day! Ainsley's Angels of America hosted the ShamRock-N-Run event in Coastal Carolina, SC on March 22nd, 2025, with teams participating in both the 10k and half-marathon distances.

We were beyond excited to share that TOMS students Waverly and Aviance joined Torvi for the first time ever in a 10k race with Ainsley's Angels! It was such a special moment for all three of our TOMS students, and we couldn't be prouder of these amazing participants.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event. Here’s to many more moments like this one! #ShamRockNRun #AinsleysAngels #Community #TOMS #Inclusion #TogetherWeRun #CoastalCarolina #10kRace

TOMS Students Rocking Their Socks for a Cause!

On Friday our amazing TOMS students joined the world in celebrating #RockYourSocks Day! They showed off their colorful, creative socks to raise awareness and spread positivity for a great cause.

It’s all about celebrating diversity and embracing the uniqueness in all of us. Thank you to our students for getting involved and making this day so special!

TOMS 7th grade Science classes had an amazing field trip last week, and they didn't even have to leave Ten Oaks! A huge thank you to Mrs. Miksa and our incredible custodians, Walt Nichols and Al Ferrara, for guiding the students to the third floor of the building to explore the power of solar energy. The students got a hands-on look at the solar panels on the roof and learned about the mechanics behind how the energy is converted and used right here in our very own school. What an unforgettable experience! #STEM #SolarPower #TenOaksScience

Looking to spend your tax refund dollars wisely this year? We have an idea!

The Ten Oaks Counseling Team has a Care Closet on campus to support students in need, and we're reaching out for your help!

We are currently in need of items to replenish our closet, and we have also run out of clear backpacks. Thanks to generous donations, we've already distributed over 500 replacement backpacks, but we're now out and need your support!

Check out the attached flyer for a list of items we could use. Any donations you make will go directly toward helping students who need it most. Donations can be dropped off at the front office.

Thank you for considering supporting our school and making a difference in the lives of our students!

Mr. Clifford Jones, the new Superintendent of Horry County Schools, has scheduled “Coffee with Cliff” events for the remainder of the school year. As a newcomer to Horry County Schools, Mr. Jones wants to use these events to listen to the community's ideas and concerns and to share news about the district with community members. These events are just one of many ways Mr. Jones hopes to connect with the community and listen, share, and learn to make Horry County Schools an even better district. #HCSBestDaysAhead

“Coffee with Cliff” consists of informal listening sessions and discussions. Everyone is invited, and no registration or appointment is needed. Just show up, enjoy a cup of coffee, and chat
