National School Counselor Week!
This week was National School Counselor Week. We salute our school counselors, and thank them for everything they do! In ordinary times, their work is vital. In these extraordinary times, their work is extraordinary, and we appreciate it. Ms. Grasha (top), Ms. RIley, Ms. Roman, and Ms. Froats (L-R) are our counselors and are a big reason why Burgettstown is a special place.
Our elementary students love to dress up for the 100th day of school!
Congratulation to 10th grader Nathan Swihart. Nathan was Burgettstown's top scorer for our JV Southwest Academic League team. A big congratulations to ALL of our JV members for a successful season!

Our Blue Devil Wrestling team traveled to Hershey this week to participate in PIAA Championship action. Before they left, their bus circled around to the front of the elementary center, where the students gave them a rousing sendoff!

Buildings and Grounds Concern Form
Our school district prides itself on providing the best possible learning environment for our students, and school buildings and other facilities that can be a source of pride for the community. We are constantly monitoring the conditions of our schools, athletic complexes and other district-owned property but sometimes we miss things. You can help us by completing this form when you notice something that you think needs our attention. It can be something as basic as noticing that there is a light out in our parking areas, or that the trash receptacles at the baseball field need emptied. Just like you have for your home, we have a running list of items that need our attention. These items get prioritized and acted upon. We may already know about the issue you raise, but if we don't, we can't prioritize it until we do. We are all in this together and your input is greatly appreciated.
