Jackson Elementary Construction is on Time and Budget

Construction is progressing on time and on budget on the new Jackson Elementary School. Walls going up, metal decking for the roofing is in place, internal framing and mechanicals are being set in place, and they are also pouring concrete on the second floor.

The goal is to have the building fully enclosed in November/December so all the interior work can take place over the winter.

High School Construction Will Begin in Spring

The West Bend School District and its design partner, EUA, and construction partner, Findorff, have been working diligently to complete the design plans and detailed construction phases for the high school building. The work will begin during Spring Break 2027 and be completed in phases over the next two years.

There will also be extensive mechanical improvements in the building, such as HVAC and plumbing.

Silverbrook Transformation

The other ongoing construction that was part of the 2024 referendum is taking place at Silverbrook. The 5th grade wing is closed while several classrooms are remodeled to accommodate kindergarten students next school year. In fall 2027-2028, the school will become Silverbrook Elementary School serving grades K-5.
