From the Main Office:
Summer EBT is a federal program implemented by New York State to help low-income households with school-aged children purchase food over the summer when school is out of session and children can no longer rely on access to free/reduced-price school meals.
The state issued 2026 Summer EBT benefit amount of $120 per eligible child will be issued on an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that families can use just like Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to purchase eligible food items at SNAP participating grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and other retailers. This program is an addition to free meals that children ages 18 and younger can get at summer meal sites in their communities. The District wanted to ensure that families were aware of this benefit.
The below flyer has information that may be helpful in applying for and obtaining these benefits.

Spruce Students Soar!
Third graders at Spruce Elementary were thrilled to take flight during STEM(a) class this week as they practiced flying their drones. With curiosity, creativity, and teamwork on full display, students eagerly collaborated to put their growing skills to the test. It was inspiring to watch their hard work come together as learning truly took flight in the classroom.
