Teachers are available to assist students from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Thursday and 9 - 2 pm on Friday. One day a week they are also available to help in the evenings. They also offer a live lesson once a week for the entire class. Please check in with your teachers for questions, clarification, and encouragement.

• Automatic zeros: When assignments are not turned in by their target due dates, automatic zeros are applied in the gradebook. These zeros do not count as assignment submissions, but they show how your averages will be affected if you never submit the assignments. Once you submit late work, the zeros will be replaced with the grades you earned. No points are deducted for late work. When the course expires at the end of the semester, any remaining zeros will be permanent.

• Do you need to change a course-- you will need to fill out this form within the first 5 days of your start date.

Active Participation
Students are considered as actively participating in the program when they are logging in, reviewing and engaging in course content and completing gradable assignments in all of their assigned courses on or before the due date.

Attendance Policy
At iSVA, we do not take attendance like a traditional school, but use participation levels as our measure of attendance. In order for students to be considered as participating in school, they must be actively working in all of their assigned courses by logging in, reviewing and engaging in course content, and completing gradable assignments on or before their due date.

Guardians are not required to enter attendance into our system or keep attendance records. Our online school tracks the time that students spend working in courses and their progress as a way to measure attendance in our school.
