Weekly Update September 11, 2026

All summer long, kids and staff dressed up for our silly Fun Fridays! Amongst the staff, we vote weekly on the "best dressed" for each themed Friday. Last week, we voted for our "Very Best Dressed" from each building for the whole summer. Our winners were Cathlyn in Burton and Sarah in Brighton! To the right is Cathlyn's winning look from Mismatch Day.

Thank you to all the kids and staff who dressed up and made our summer so fun! We love seeing all the different looks.

Grace started working at Strive in August 2026.

Grace previously worked as an Automotive Sales Consultant and a Club volleyball coach.

Grace graduated from Flushing High School in 2023 and is planning to go back to school to pursue a degree in Psychology. She also has a Personal Training Certification from NCSF.

Grace’s interests and hobbies outside of Strive include spending time with family and friends, getting involved in the community with local events happening around town. She enjoys podcasting in her spare time about self development to help people feel better about themselves.

We are excited to share that our center is transitioning to iCare, a management software designed to streamline our communications, scheduling, and student records.

Over the next several weeks, our staff will be working behind the scenes to set up and update all student and family profiles. As we enter this information into the system, you may receive automated email notifications or invitations from iCare.

Please feel free to disregard these emails for now! To keep things simple and ensure everything is fully configured, we ask that you hold off on logging in or creating your account until we have completed the setup process.

Once all profiles are fully updated, we will send out an official announcement with clear instructions on how to log in, review your account, and confirm that your family's information is correct.

Here are some upcoming dates that the centers will be closed:

Friday, October 16th - Both centers closed for PD Day

Wednesday, November 25 - Friday, November 27th - Both centers closed for Thanksgiving

Monday, December 21st - Friday, January 1st - Both centers closed for holiday break

If your family is planning a longer absence around one of those dates, or at another time, please let us know as soon as you are able!
