The "WEE"kly Warrior Update

Celebrations
Our students worked hard on their EOY assessments and EOG tests. Thank you for supporting them all school year. Each and every student has grown over the past 180 (almost) days and we are very proud of them.
Mrs. Heidi is happy to report that WEE has recevied 11 consecutive scores of 100% on the cafeteria health inspections. They have receieved a total of 16 scores of 100% since 2018! Congrats to our amazing Cafeteria staff! We truly have the best!!
Attendance Matters
It is the last week of school and the last few opportunities for our WEE Warriors to show their Warrior Legacy Leadership spirit! We look forward to seeing each of our Warriors this week and celebrate another great year.
Are You Moving Over the Summer?
We are in the midst of plannnig for the 23/24 school year. Part of this is ensuring our enrollment numbers are accurate. If your student will not be returning to WEE for the 23/24 school year, please consider completing this survey. This information is only used for our planning purposes to ensure we have adequate staffing. Thank you!
WEE Celebrate Success Day!
Each grade level will celebrate another great year during their specials in the gym on Wednesday. Please have your student wear socks and tennis shoes that day so they can participate safely.
23/24 Preliminary Information
- Student supply lists by grade level will be posted to the WEE website by 6/12/23.
- Our Warrior Care after school program registration will be announced soon. Once the opening day for registration has been finalized we will post announcements on our website and social media platforms. Please keep a look out for this!
- Teacher assignments and class lists will be announced when teachers return on August 16, 2023. I know all of our Warrior Leaders are anxious to meet their new WEE Warriors.

Dress Code
As the weather warms up and we break out the shorts and tshirts, please be mindful of the MCS dress code. All students must be covered from shoulders to mid-thigh. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be the appropriate length. Shirts should also cover the entire stomach area. Thanks for your help with this!
Early Dismissal Reminders
This is a friendly reminder of our early dismissal policy. All early dismissals must be completed by 2:00 pm. After 2:00 pm students must be picked up in the car rider line.
Late Arrivals
Our morning car line closes at 7:30 am sharp. Please do not drop your student off at the car line area at or after 7:30 am. Starting tomorrow morning this area will be chained off at 7:30 am. The safety of our students is our number one concern. When students are dropped off in the car line after 7:30 am there are no staff members to supervise them. Thank you for partnering with us to help keep our students safe.
Car Line Procedure Reminders
When you enter the car line please be reminded to stay close to the cars in front of you. We also need cars to move all the way to the playground side of the parking lot where Mr. Barber is stationed. This keeps our line moving smoothly. Thank you!
Changes to Dismissal Process
If a change to a student's dismissal process is needed (ex: bus rider needs to be a car rider), please send a note to the teacher. Last minute changes must be communicated in email to the teacher and a call to the front office. Please do not send Dojo messages for this time of change. Our teachers are busy teaching and do not always have the opportunity to check their messages before dismissal.
