Lake Maloney Elementary

Welcome Back, Lake Elementary Families!
Greetings from Mrs. Fleck, Your New Principal

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to a new school year! I am honored to step into the role of principal here at Lake Elementary and can’t wait to begin this journey with you and your children.

A little about me—I’m originally from Kimball, Nebraska, but my husband and his family are from right here in North Platte, which brought our family to this wonderful community. I spent 11 years teaching elementary before stepping into school leadership. This is my 6th year in administration with North Platte Public Schools, and I truly believe that every child can thrive when surrounded by support, consistency, and kindness.

This year’s theme is “Sprinkle Kindness, Shower Positivity”—and that’s exactly the environment we aim to create together. We’re committed to helping your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and nurturing space.
