Winterfest Spirit Week
LECC will be celebrating Spirit Week alongside the high school! This is a fun opportunity for our students to feel connected to the larger school community while showing their school spirit.
Students are invited (but not required) to participate in each day’s theme.
We can’t wait to see the creativity, excitement, and school pride from our students as we celebrate together with the high school. Thank you for your continued support!
CATCH - Taste Testing
This month, during our CATCH lessons, students had the opportunity to explore and taste a variety of healthy foods and learn about making nutritious choices. Our kinderstart kiddos sampled red bell pepper slices, cauliflower, and sugar snap peas. Kindergarten enjoyed tasting grapes, cheese cubes, turkey jerky, and pretzels, while discussing how these foods help their bodies grow and stay strong. The taste testing experience encouraged students to be open to trying new foods and reinforced healthy eating habits in a fun, hands-on way.
