In preparation for this transition, we have built an 8th grade specific newsletter that we will send out periodically with important 8th grade updates and information from each of the high schools.

Last Day of School: Thursday, June 5th

We will be planning an 8th grade breakfast for the last week of school, during which our 8th grade students will be served a special meal, and will have time to spend with their peers signing yearbooks AND 8th grade shirts! More information on the 8th grade shirts and sales coming soon!

On Thursday, 2/6, all 8th graders attended a short presentation about the IB program. See below for the presentation and brochure.

The FHS team visited BGW on 2/10, where they presented to 8th grade students feeding into FHS about their elective choices and CTE program offerings. Students then had the opportunity to complete their elective choices. See the presentation below.

The RHS Mustang Roundup is coming soon on May 1 beginning at 3:45 until 5:30 outside in an "Open House" style with tons of information, hand outs, tables with flyers, and much more.

Students slated to attend Rodriguez High School based on residency have received an email from Ms. Escobar with a link to complete their class choices. Only students can complete the form. The form is titled 2025-2026 9th Grade Course Request and Registration and was sent directly to students' FSUSD email account. Here is the 25-26 RHS Course Catalog for RHS.
