Check out this month's feature video of INSIDE SMS . We featured two different events that were focused on community and leadership. Big thank you to Mrs. Blackman and Mrs. Myers for their leadership in both of these events and all of our community leaders, parents, staff and students who help make these events possible. We are so proud of our students and community.

Mustang Spotlight Mustang Spotlight

Mrs. Stacey Armstrong has been with our District for 27 years. Mrs. Armstrong worked at Zellers and Kinsner Elementary Schools, before landing in her current position as an Intervention Specialist on the Captains Team at Strongsville Middle School. She does not live in Strongsville, but says that for the past 27 years “Strongsville has felt like home for me.” Mrs. Armstrong earned her undergraduate degree from Akron University and her graduate degree from Marygrove College.

“The best thing about working with students is that they all come in with unique personalities. Since I teach small groups of students at a time, we become like family. It is so rewarding to see children progress both academically and socially. I love helping students turn their weaknesses into strengths. My students know I believe in them and we all strive to embrace our differences while learning from one another. My classroom is a safe and fun learning environment for all of us. What I like best about Strongsville Middle School is our ability to work together as a team to meet the needs of all of our learners.”

Thank you Mrs. Armstrong for making a difference with our SMS students! #ModelMustang
