GIRLS GOLF
The girls golf season has come to an end with some notable accomplishments during the year.
The team finished 2nd in the Conference tournament with 4 of our team members finishing in the top 10. Two players, Morgan Wojtas and Olivia Ramsey finished in the top 5, placing 2nd and 4th respectively with Hazel Peterson finishing 6th and Sophia Weldon coming in 7th. The team finished 2nd overall, in the Conference standings.
Morgan Wojtas, finished first (Medalist) in the LaPorte Sectional and moved on to the Regional tournament at Sandy Pines in DeMotte. She is the first girl golfer, from John Glenn, to be the Medalist (1st place) in a Sectional tournament. At the Regional she finished 8th out of 15 individual golfers. Morgan has gone to the Regional twice in the two years she's been on the team. Morgan is only a sophomore and playing against seniors from other schools.
The John Glenn community should be very proud of how the entire team did representing John Glenn High School. We're already looking forward to next season.
