Dear Smith Stallions,
It was a great week at T. G. Smith Elementary School! Hopefully we are about to get through the hot weather and can enjoy some cooler temperatures before long. Please continue to send your child with a water bottle until our new water bottles arrive.
A couple of reminders related to our school day:
Breakfast is served each morning in the cafeteria from 7:15 a.m. until 7:40 a.m. If your child would like to eat breakfast when they arrive at school, they need to be at school by 7:35 a.m. so that they can go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast.
If your child is a car rider in the afternoon, you will need to have a car tag with your student’s number on it. If you do not have a numbered car tag, please call the office at 479-750-8846 and we will make sure we get a tag made for afternoon pickup. Starting next week, if you do not have a number tag, you will need to park and wait for the line to clear. This will be at approximately 3:20/3:25 p.m. Please work with your child on practicing to buckle and unbuckle themselves. We also ask that you not get out of your vehicle. We will assist your child if needed.
Please remember to send your child to school each morning with a mask. All students Kindergarten - 5th grade are required to wear a mask while inside the building with the exception of breakfast and lunch. Thank you for sending a mask with your child each day.
We have great news! Mrs. Wilson’s Class and Mrs. McFetridge’s Class have both turned in all of their Student Information Sheets. Congratulations! We have quite a few classrooms that are close to 100%. Thank you for returning these forms to school as soon as possible.
