Shout out to Ms. Friedrich's 4th graders and Ms. Manalo's 5th graders! They tied for 1st place and turned in 100% of their signed Impact Aid forms. Woohoo! These important forms are still being received by classroom teachers if you have not already turned yours in. Teachers will have extra forms available at Parent/ Teacher Conferences for families who may have lost their form. Thank you in advance for helping PVIS. Every form matters!

  • Review student data and discuss instructional next steps

  • Explore HMH resources, lesson planning, or curriculum questions

  • Plan interventions and additional support for students

  • Brainstorm instructional strategies or work through classroom challenges

She also visits classrooms to see how she can best support teachers and students. We are working hard to increase student achievement and proficiency at PVIS!

Red Ribbon Week (PRES/ PVIS) Red Ribbon Week (PRES/ PVIS)

PRES & PVIS will recognize Red Ribbon Week from October 26–29. Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that encourages children and families to live healthy, safe, and drug-free lives. At the elementary level, our focus is on helping students make positive choices, care for their bodies/ minds, choose supportive friendships, and ask trusted adults for help when needed.

Please talk with students about the importance of making healthy and responsible decisions. Students have asked if they can decorate their classroom door and have a door contest. Families can cast their vote for their favorite door at Parent/Teacher Conferences.
