Welcome to Williams High School
Welcome to the 26-27 School Year!
As the new principal of Williams HS, it's an honor to lead a campus full of incredible teachers and students. That said, the first day of school is is upon us, and I couldn't be more excited. In 5 days, Williams will welcome approximately 760 Freshmen and Sophomore students. High school is an incredible journey, and over the next ten months, your child will experience academic challenges, celebrate victories, learn from setbacks, make new friends, discover new passions, and continue becoming the person they are meant to be. They won't remember every homework assignment or quiz score, but they will remember the teachers who believed in them, the adults who encouraged them, and the community that supported them.
That's where our partnership begins.
At our school, we believe the most successful students have one thing in common: the adults in their lives work together. We see you as partners, not spectators. We promise to communicate openly, listen thoughtfully, and always keep students at the center of every decision we make. In return, we ask that you encourage your student to attend school every day, give their best effort, stay involved, and let us know when they need support.
You can expect us to celebrate successes, address challenges with honesty and fairness, and always strive to do what's best for students. We won't always have every answer, but we will always be willing to have the conversation. Trust isn't built through perfection, it's built through consistency, transparency, and a shared commitment to helping young people succeed.
As your principal, my door is open. I genuinely enjoy hearing from parents, not just when something needs fixing, but when something deserves celebrating. If a teacher or staff member has made a difference in your child's life, tell us. If you have a concern, reach out. We are on the same team, and our shared goal is helping every student succeed.
This year, you'll hear us talk often about three simple expectations:
- Be present.
- Be respectful.
- Be engaged.
Those expectations aren't just for students, they're for all of us. Together, we can create a school culture where students feel safe, challenged, connected, and proud to be here. Every student who walks through our doors matters, and every family deserves a school that leads with integrity, compassion, and high expectations.
Thank you for your partnership and support. We can't wait to welcome our students back and begin another outstanding year together.
With appreciation,
Dr. Nicholas Coenraad
Principal
