Anderson School District One is recognized by the South Carolina Department of Education as an official eLearning District. We are permitted to use up to five eLearning Days in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances that require school closures. To ensure equitable access, students will not be required to participate in live sessions, as internet connectivity may be limited during such events.

Time Line and Attendance

eLearning should not require that students join live meetings. Inclement weather can often cause power and internet outages that would prevent students from accessing live lessons. Students will have 5 days to complete their eLearning work. The 5 days begin on the school day after a designated eLearning day. Student attendance will be marked as present once the eLearning is turned in.
