Welcome Back PJHS Families...it's almost the start of a new school year! Welcome Back PJHS Families...it's almost the start of a new school year!

From the Principal/Assistant Principal's Desk:

Hello PJHS Families,

It is hard to believe that summer has gone so fast, but here we are. We are ready and eager to start the school year off! We welcome staff tomorrow, August 18th and open our doors to welcome students this week on Thursday, August 21st. Our district theme this year is GO BIG BLUE!, in which you will here about exciting things planned around this throughout the year.

At this time, we would like to remind families of a few things. First, please look below at any important dates that are coming up at the Junior High. This year, student arrival will begin at 8am. Students will be let in the building at that time. The first day of school will be on August 21st for students and we will be following a common plan dismissal time of 1:40. Also, PJHS will also have Open House night on August 26th from 6-7:30pm.

This year, PJHS is strictly reinforcing that there are no latex balloons brought into the building (including any events). Due to severe allergies with students, staff, and families throughout our district, we want to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone. Mylar balloons would be allowed as a supplement for latex balloons.

If your child is interested in joining band, please reach out to Mr. Kowalski via email at the following: bkowalski@peotoneschools.org (Friday, August 22nd will be the last day students can sign up for band).

Below, you will see important frequently asked questions about students starting the school year, please click on the PDF to see any important information or questions you might have.

Please ensure that you are reading any important information that is included in the weekly parent communication in case there are any questions you might have about events, dates, etc.

We look forward to welcoming students and families back!!!
