RILEY RECAP - VOLUME 5 ISSUE 1
July 23, 2025
From the Desk of Principal Henderson
Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer break. I can’t wait to welcome each of you back into the building as we begin a brand new chapter together. For some, this will be your very first day of high school, an exciting milestone. For others, it's the start of your final year a time to reflect, lead, and prepare for what's next.
Let’s get ready to work hard academically, educationally, emotionally, and athletically. This year holds great potential, and I know we’re going to achieve amazing things together.
Let’s make it a great year, Wildcats!
I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
Our Goals:
1) Educate the Whole Student
2) Get students reading on grade level
3) A 95% attendance rate
4) A 90% graduation rate
We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!
Sincerely,
Shawn Henderson
