Ashland Preschool Update

Hello Preschool Families,

We are so excited that our Open House is almost here! The students are looking forward to sharing all of their hard work and projects with you next Wednesday.

During the Open House, we will also be hosting a “Battle of the Buckets” fundraiser to support programs and supplies provided by the PTO. The classroom that collects the most donations will win a special prize!

As we look ahead, please note a few important dates:

• May 6th at 9:00 AM – Caregiver Coffee for Pittaway families with students transitioning to Kindergarten next year. Please see the information below to register.
• June 18th – Last day of preschool for students who are not graduating (all classes will follow their normal schedule).
• June 22nd at 10:30 AM – Preschool Graduation
• June 23rd – New Family Orientation
  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM for AM Session families
  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for PM and Full Day Session families

Please join us for a Caregiver Coffee with Warren Principal Peter Regan and Special Education Coordinator Kathryn Bent. This is a wonderful opportunity for Pittaway families who have a child attending Warren next year to ask questions and learn more about the transition to kindergarten.

Please register here. If you are unable to attend in person, you are still welcome to use the registration form to submit questions for Mr. Regan and Ms. Bent.

We currently have a waitlist for all our classes for the 26/27 school year, except for our 4-day 3-year-old AM class. If you are interested in signing up for this option, please send your application to Donna Pederson dpederson@ashland.k12.ma.us

If your child receives a placement through Special Education, the Teams will be making recommendations during upcoming IEP meetings and will communicate that with you.
