A Message from our New Assistant Principal
Dear Cedar Cliff High School Students, Staff, and Families,
I am excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Cedar Cliff High School.
My name is Ken Gehosky, and I am honored to return to the Cedar Cliff community. I spent over 20 years as a social studies teacher at Cedar Cliff before joining the admin team at New Cumberland Middle School. While this is a new role for me at the high school level, I am fortunate to already be familiar with many of our students and families through my previous work as an assistant Having had the opportunity to support students during those important middle school years, it is especially meaningful to now continue that journey with them as they transition into high school.
One of the things I value most about West Shore is the strong sense of connection between schools, staff, and families. I am committed to continuing that work at Cedar Cliff by supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally, and by helping ensure that every Colt feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
I am also very excited to continue working alongside my colleague Jennifer Post, who I had the privilege of serving under during my time as assistant principal at New Cumberland Middle School while she was principal there. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for her leadership and for the strong, student-centered approach she brings to every school community. I look forward to continuing that positive working relationship in this new setting.
As I transition into Cedar Cliff High School, I am eager to build new relationships with students, staff, and families while also reconnecting with those I already know. High school is such a critical and exciting time in a student’s journey, and I am looking forward to being part of a team that supports students as they prepare for their futures.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I am truly excited to be joining the Cedar Cliff community and to begin this next chapter together.
