PTSA Around the World Dessert Table for Staff
Let's celebrate all of our CHHS Staff by sharing our traditional, cultural, or favorite desserts. Is there a unique dessert your family has every year? A cute tradition? We want to try it! Bring on the cakes, cookies, flan, bread pudding, pie, etc.! Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
We ask that all items be delivered to the front office between 7:30-11 am on 12/19/25.
Be sure to include a note with any allergen ingredients and/or recipe.
We will also need a couple volunteers to help us set up (10:45 am-11:15 am) and clean up that day (1:30-2 pm). Responsible students can earn volunteer hours (certificate provided when we return to school). Please sign up below if you can assist!

Exam Week Details
If you are giving your student permission to leave at the end of the exam period, you must send a note with student name, a statement giving permission to leave early, your name, signature, date, and phone number. We will not be doing any early check-outs by phone and no students will be allowed to leave until the exam period is over.
Ag Mechanics Items for Sale
Our Agricultural Mechanics students have been hard at work this short semester to produce a few items I hope you'll like.
1. Desk organizers: These are small, but mighty! Guaranteed to make it long past retirement, for only $15.00! They are 4"x4"x4", made of steel, fully welded, and powder-coated. Here are a couple of examples. These can also be customized, if you have something specific in mind, email jaredparks@johnston.k12.nc.us.
2. Small Wooden Christmas Trees (picture them painted green, getting it this week). $20.00, these are roughly 3' tall and are made of treated lumber. We can also do a 3', 2', and 1' combo for $40.00.
3. A few pig planters. We have an extremely limited stock of pig planters, and they are $45.00.
If you navigate to our website, you will see 3 pages: Wooden Projects, Metal Projects, and Custom Projects. Each one has it's own order form. The trees can be found under the wooden projects order form, desk organizers and pig planters are under the metal projects order form. (bit.ly/CHHSFFAAGMECH).
Thank you for your continued support of student learning.
