8th Grade Dance
Volunteers Needed
Traditionally, we ask 6th-grade and 7th-grade parents to help chaperone and assist behind the scenes so that the 8th graders can enjoy their special night without their own parents watching from the sidelines. We need volunteers to help with check-in, chaperoning during the dance, serving food, and check-out. Please click HERE to sign up.
Your support will ensure that this event runs smoothly while also giving you a sneak peek at what’s in store for next year! Thank you in advance for making this a memorable night for our soon-to-be graduates!

These individuals embody the spirit of Lincoln and have consistently supported our students, staff, and families in meaningful ways.
Please join me in celebrating and thanking all of our award recipients for their incredible contributions. We are so grateful for their commitment and proud to have them as part of the Lincoln family.

Exciting Events for 8th Graders This Semester!
With a less than 3 weeks left of school, we wanted to share some upcoming events that our 8th graders will enjoy during this final semester. We’ll be sending more detailed information soon including graduation requirements, yearbook deadlines, and other important updates before spring break.
8th Grade Dance – Friday, June 6th
The 8th grade dance, organized by parent volunteers, is sure to be a fun evening. We’ll need many 8th grade parents to help before and after the event with transforming the cafeteria and making it a memorable night for our kids.
8th Grade Promotion – Thursday, June 12th
Due to the size of our 8th grade class, the promotion ceremony will be split into two groups based on your child’s core group. Each student will be allowed to bring 3 guests to the ceremony. Support for These Events With that said, these events cost money. While the Lincoln PTSA commits $10,000 as part of the annual budget, your donations and fundraising are crucial to covering the additional $35,000 required for all 8th grade activities. To fund Golf N’ Stuff and buses for transportation as well as ensure that the dance and promotion committees can start planning, we suggest a donation of $175 per student to be made by February 18, 2025; however, any contribution is greatly appreciated. 100% of the donations will go directly toward the 8th grade class activities.
Please click the link below to make your donation today https://lincolnmiddleschoolptsa.org/product/8th-grade-promotion-fund/
Cash and Check Donations accepted. Checks can be written to “Lincoln Middle School PTSA”. Cash donations can be dropped off labeled “8th Grade Activities” to Lincoln front office staff to be given to PTSA. Thanks to all families that have already made their donations! Not sure if you already donated? Contact John Jericiau, LMS PTSA Treasurer at treasurer@lmsptsa.org
