Nothing says Fall more than football on Halloween Night! And, it was a little spooky! Our students were really in the holiday spirit at school with some great costumes. It carried over into the night at our football game. After a tense game rivalry game with Red Bay, our football team came out on top thanks to a last minute Hail Mary pass from Hayston Scott to Austin Elliott to get the win.

Before the game started, our band and Red Bay's band put on a joint performance of the National Anthem. Both bands did an outstanding job!

The football team closes out the regular season with a 6-4 record with the losses coming to undefeated Hamilton, one-loss Gordo, two-loss Winfield and Vinemont. Now, it is on to the playoffs where we will travel to Piedmont.

Piedmont is about a three hour drive. Friday we will have an early pep rally at 11:15 at the football stadium. School will dismiss at 1:30.

Congratulations to Rayna Scott! She qualified for the state cross country meet by running the 3.2 mile course in 24 minutes and 54.8 seconds.

Earlier in the week, our Juniors and Seniors signed up for their Spring semester dual enrollment classes, our FBLA club visited the Isbell Pumpkin Farm and we had a successful joint Trunk or Treat with Northwest Shoals on our campus Monday evening.

Also, earlier in the week our junior high girls beat Haleyville and Winfield in the Red Bay Tipoff Tournament.

Bruiser was a regular in the Phil Campbell stands this year and did a great job!

Several of our students and clubs participated in Trunk or Treat with Northwest Shoals on our campus last Monday.

Hayston Scott earned Player of the Week honors for his performance against Hanceville. Will be shocked if he does not earn back-to-back honors with his performance against Red Bay on Friday night.
