Can you imagine anything more exciting than meeting a real gecko after finishing a story about one? Today, Mrs. Konopasek’s class experienced just that!

The class welcomed a very special guest—Flamer, the crested flame gecko belonging to Oliver and Emily French. Accompanied by Mrs. French, Oliver, and Emily, Flamer made quite the impression on the students.

During the visit, students learned all about what it takes to care for a gecko, including its habitat, diet, and daily needs. They were especially fascinated by Flamer’s unique behavioral characteristics and had the chance to see firsthand how this incredible reptile lives and moves.

It was an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience that brought their reading to life in the most exciting way!
