This week students will be practicing greeting others and responding to a greeting.

Making a Greeting

• Eyes on the person

• Smile

• Give a verbal greeting

• Return a handshake, high 5, hug or fist bump if given

Rationale

• To be respectful to others

• To show others we are glad to see them

• To let others know their being here matters

• To let others know they are important
