East Weekly
November 9, 2025
Happy Weekend, GMSE Families!
We hope everyone enjoys a long weekend! Please remember that students do not have school on Monday, November 10, as our staff will be participating in a district-wide Professional Development Day.
On Tuesday, November 11, we are excited to welcome several veterans to GMSE for our annual Veterans Day Celebration. We will be following an adjusted schedule for the day to allow time to honor and recognize those who have served.
To show our school spirit and unity, we’re asking students to participate in a red, white, and blue theme:
-
6th grade – wear red
-
7th grade – wear white
-
8th grade – wear blue
Have a great weekend!
Take care,
Megan Kirsten

Community Connections
We’re always looking for ways to connect classroom learning to the real world or allow students to explore the future—and we’d love your help! If you're open to sharing your job title and a brief description of what you do, we’d love to learn more. We’re gathering a list of parents and guardians who might be interested in speaking to students about their careers, allowing students to shadow for a day, or participating in a future career fair.
If this sounds like something you'd consider, please take a moment to fill out this quick google form. Thank you for helping our students dream big!
