The Souhegan Scoop
September 5, 2025

Message from the Principal
We’ve had a wonderful first week back at Souhegan! The building feels alive again, and it’s been exciting to see classrooms buzzing with learning, advisory groups reconnecting, and new friendships beginning to form.
I want to thank our students and families for embracing the year’s start with positivity and flexibility and the spirit that defines our wonderful community.
Warmly,
Dana

Claws for a Cause: Souhegan’s Homecoming Week
The Souhegan Ethics Forum is excited to present Claws for a Cause, our annual homecoming celebration happening this year from September 15–20. This spirited, week-long event brings the Souhegan community together through school pride, fun activities, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
Students can get involved by purchasing a Claws for a Cause T-shirt to wear on Friday, cheering on our teams at home athletic events throughout the week, and participating in advisory and after-school activities. The celebration builds up to the Friday night football game and the much-anticipated Homecoming Dance on Saturday.
More than just a celebration, Claws for a Cause reflects Souhegan’s mission to be active stewards of family, nation, and globe. Each year, the Ethics Forum selects charitable organizations to support, using this week to raise both awareness and funds for these important causes.
Let’s come together as Sabers to celebrate, connect, and create positive change!
